Notes:
The highest concentration of vanilla aroma is found in the Vanilla Absolute.
Vanilla Absolute is very dark brown and semisolid, just about pourable at room temperature. It is less rich in odor than the direct alcohol extraction products, and the perfumery effect is not proportional to its concentration over the vanilla tinctures.

Under natural conditions, the flowers are only pollinated by a specific Mexican bee, but a young slave from Reunion Island discovered in 1841 how to manually reproduce the pollination of the plant. Once picked, vanilla pods are dried over a six month period. This is important for the development of their sweet and smooth perfume. |
