      Mushroom Absolute (CEPES)
Adam Michael has this to say “The aroma of Mushroom Absolute (CEPES) is of course intensely vegetative and mushroom like, wet earthy, damp mossy, unbelievably potent seaweed marine fresh, hay sweet and even exudes totally unexpected yet absolutely gorgeous delicate dark chocolate nuances and all of excellent tenacity. This material is produced by solvent extracting all of the Boletus edulis plant which you usually find growing in abundance under coniferous species such as spruces and firs. The colour is dark brown and of a thick but pourable consistency. This would be superb with fougere, smoky blends, musk, forest and vegetative accords and deep amber bases. Reminiscent to my nose of the mushroom flavour sachets that accompany Koka instant noodles”
