Adam Michael has this to say “The aroma of this oil is just like smelling the fresh herbs, sweet anise, liquorice and fennel notes galore with opoponax resinous warmth and subtle green qualities. A must for citrus bouquets, lavender colognes, green accords, building boozy notes generally blends well with most herb naturals and blends especially well with galbanum natural materials.

      ArtDra2 Tarragon oil, USA
Tarragon oil has an anise like aroma similar to the methyl chavicol chemo type of basil. For this reason it blends well with fennel, anise, basil, and other oils of estragole and anethole type aroma. The aroma is spicy, green, and sweet. Many believe Tarragon to have powerful anti-spasmodic effects which could be helpful in massage blends for muscular spasms, dysmenorrhoea, amenorrhoea, and menopause.

Tarragon Essential oil Hungary
Odor Description: herbaceous, with a delicious aniseed character
Cultivated for its aniseed-flavored leaves, tarragon is an aromatic plant that is very popular in French and Chinese cuisine. A perennial, deciduous plant, tarragon forms a small bush with straight, branched stems. The bright-green leaves are narrow and pointed. Light-green flowers are grouped in loose clusters at the top of the stems. The plant does not produce fertile seeds; reproduction is therefore vegetative: The fibrous roots of the tarragon plant are divided and replanted in small segments between February and March. The harvest takes place in June; a second harvest can be conducted in September. The plants are cut short and then distilled. The plant has a productive lifespan of up to three years and then must be renewed. Tarragon essential oil is herbaceous, with a delicious aniseed character. The Hungary quality has a freshness not found in the France quality, which is earthier.

Use: Adam Michael has this to say “The aroma of this oil is just like smelling the fresh herbs, sweet anise, liquorice and fennel notes galore with opoponax resinous warmth and subtle green qualities. A must for citrus bouquets, lavender colognes, green accords, building boozy notes generally blends well with most herb naturals and blends especially well with galbanum natural materials.

Use: Tarragon oil has an anise like aroma similar to the methyl chavicol chemo type of basil.
