      Blue Cypress Essential Oil
Adam Michael has this to say “The Callitris genus belongs to the cupressaceae family and includes about a dozen species that grow in the southern hemisphere, chiefly in Australia, and notably in the aboriginal lands such as the Melville Islands. The aroma of blue cypress essential oil is very rich with top notes that are smooth and woody, comparable to the suave woody body of pemou and the soft floral seductive aspects of ylang ylang. This is followed with a floral and earthy infusion, comparable to blue chamomile entwined with helichrysum angustifoliam. Finally I detect very delicate undertones of fruity fig and acacia honey sweetness and all of great tenacity.

CalInt9 Cypress oil, Blue (WC), Australia
Blue Cypress gets its name from the vibrant blue hue of the essential oil. The aroma is balsamic, sweet, and woody with just a touch of spicy notes to round it off. It has been used in perfumery as a grounding note in essential oil blends. Our aromatherapists say Blue Cypress is a wonderful support for redness, congested skin, and may help with respiratory support. Blue Cypress is also thought to support the calming and soothing of a restless day.
