Notes:
The tree seems to have originated in the Far East in the area between the Himalayas and southwestern China. It came to Europe in the early part of the l6th century and soon afterwards was brought to the Americas by the Spanish and Portuguese explorers. Seedlings of the tree were landed in West Africa by Portuguese, seafarers long before it was brought to Europe. Thus the Guinea trees are the descendants of the first shipment of orange trees outside Asia. Cinnamaldehyde adds natural sharpness and sweetness. Blends well with aldehydic bases. tsca definition 2008: extractives and their physically modified derivatives. citrus aurantium, dulces, citrus. used in pharmaceuticals for fragrance and flavor.

Adam Michael has this to say “This aroma of this cold pressed material is similar to the taste of candied orange pieces, bright, orange sugary sweet and fresh citrus orange zesty. The shelf life is about five to six months so my advice is to store this material in your fridge. If you want a longer shelf life and are happy to sacrifice the freshness this aroma provides then you could consider the five-fold materials (and beyond).
