Walnut trees used for our Actipone® are mainly collected in Europe. The wood is dried, if necessary comminuted, extracted with a blend of water and ethanol and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation and thereby the ethanol is completely removed. The concentrated extract is prepared in a mixture of water, propylene glycol and preservatives and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. Actipone® Walnut Tree Wood shows anti-oxidant and anti-irritant properties (in vitro) as well as hair color protection properties.

Odor: characteristic Use: Actipone® Walnut Tree Wood contains the extract of Juglans regia L. prepared in propylene glycol and water.
