The aroma has similarities to both caraway and thyme. Light yellow in colour, of a pourable viscosity and the major constituent is thymol at 45%. Therapeutically this extract is said to be a good antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, anti-oxidative and antispasmodic.
