Odor: characteristic Use: SilSense® DW-18 silicone is a dimethicone copolyol ester and is formed through the esterification of isostearic acid with dimethicone copolyol.
SilSense DW-18 silicone is a water-dispersible liquid wax ester created by the reaction of isostearic acid with an alkyloxy-modified polydimethylsiloxane. SilSense DW-18 silicone is an easy to formulate product which may be used to impart the conditioning benefits of silicone to personal care products without contributing to greasiness or build-up that is normally associated with water-insoluble silicone fluids. |

Odor: characteristic Use: Silwax®WD-IS is highly lubricious when applied to fibre, hair or skin. Silwax®WD-IS is easy to use in aqueous systems because of its water dispersibility, but remains substantive enough to provide excellent conditioning properties without the build-up associated with many 2 in 1 formulas. Silwax®WD-IS is especially good on treated hair that requires special care. Silwax®WD-IS is compatible with other surfactants and does not adversely affect foam or detergency in shampoo formulas. Silwax WD-IS is a good emulsifier in creams and lotions. |
