| Carbopol® 1342 Polymer
Odor: charateristic Use: Carbopol 1342 polymer contains a lipohilic or fatty portion in its backbone, giving it increased resistance to dissolved ions. This property makes the product uniquely suitable for aqueous solutions or dispersions containing dissolved salts. In addition, it has improved compatibility in thickening and imparting yield value to ionic surfactants. Suggested applications include clear gels, hydro-alcoholic gels, surfactant systems (specialty shampoos, cleaning products, etc.), and high electrolyte systems (aloe gels, etc.). Carbopol® ETD 2020 is the easy-to-disperse version of Carbopol 1342 polymer. |

| Carbopol® 1382 Polymer
Odor: charateristic Use: Carbopol 1382 polymer is an effective suspending and stabilizing agent for use in specialty shampoos, where dandruff actives must be permanently suspended and immiscible conditioning agents must be effectively stabilized. It is also a excellent thickener and light gellant for systems containing electrolytes, anionic and amphoteric surfactants and ethyl or isopropyl alcohols. Suggested applications include antidandruff shampoos, "2-in-1" conditioning shampoos, bath and shower gels, and hydroalcoholic sunscreen and fragrance gels. |

| Carbopol® Ultrez 20 Polymer
Odor: charateristic Use: ® Ultrez 20 polymer is a hydrophobically modified cross-linked acrylate copolymer. This polymer offers many substantial benefits for formulators and marketers of personal care products. Like other "Ultrez" grade polymers, Carbopol Ultrez 20 polymer is exceptionally easy to use - it self-wets and disperses within minutes. |

| Carbopol® Ultrez 21 Polymer
Odor: charateristic Use: Carbopol® Ultrez 21 polymer is our most versatile personal care polymer. It is a hydrophobically modified cross-linked acrylate copolymer and is designed to efficiently impart thickening, stabilizing, and suspending properties to a variety of personal care applications. The polymer incorporates patented technology, which allows it to quickly and easily self-wet. |

| Pemulen™ TR-1 Polymeric Emulsifier
Odor: characteristic Use: Pemulen™ TR-1 polymeric emulsifier a versatile polymer which can emulsify up to 30% oil by weight, within a pH range of 4-5.5, and up to 20% oil over the pH range of 3-11.
While Pemulen TR-1 polymeric emulsifier thickens water, Carbopol® polymers should be used with Pemulen TR-1 polymeric emulsifier to provide greater thickening properties where higher viscosity emulsions are required. |

| Pemulen™ TR-2 Polymeric Emulsifier
Odor: characteristic Use:
Pemulen™ TR-2 polymeric emulsifier contains the higher level of hydrophobic groups and can emulsify the highest levels of oil (up to 50% by weight) within a pH range of 4-5.
Pemulen TR-2 polymeric emulsifier is highly effective at levels below 0.4%, providing a low-viscosity emulsion particularly suitable for applications via spray mechanism. |
