Orchids (Phalaenopsis Amabilis) used for our Extrapone® are mainly cultivated in France. The orchids are harvested, cleaned and if necessary comminuted, aqueously extracted and filtrated. The filtrate is concentrated by distillation. The concentrated orchid extract is prepared in a mixture of water and propylene glycol and clear filtrated after an individual ripening time. 1 kg Extrapone® Orchid contains the hydrophilic ingredients of approx. 150 g fresh orchids.
