| Pexalyn® Ester 10
Odor: characteristic Use: Pexalyn® Ester 10 synthetic resin, a hard, pale, thermoplastic resin, is a glycerol ester of partially dimerized rosin. It has a higher softening point than typical glycerol esters of wood or gum rosin, as well as improved color stability and solution properties. Pexalyn Ester 10 resin is indicated for use in wax formulations to control viscosity and enhance rheological properties. It is also recommended for use as a modifier for mascara and similar cosmetic applications, where its broad solubility and compatibility are particularly beneficial, and as a tackifier resin for various types of adhesives. |
