| Pentaerythrite Modified Rosinate
Odor: characteristic Use: Pentaerythrityl Rosinate, also called Pentaerythritol rosin ester (PERE) is the product of esterification of rosin with pentaerythrite. It can soluble in tar, esters and turpentine oil, partially soluble in petroleum products. But insoluble in alcoholic solvents. The surface energy of PERE is quite low which is the factor in making it useful as a tackifier in some adhesives. PERE mainly used as a tackifier in hot melt adhesives, solvent borne adhesive, building and construction adhesives and etc. |

| SYLVALITE® RE 100XL
Odor: characteristic Use: SYLVALITE® RE 100XL is a developmental, extra-light colored, low-odor pentaerythritol ester of tall oil rosin. This premium tackifying resin offers the utility and performance of a rosin ester for adhesive applications where very light color is required. Such applications include value-added hot melt packaging and book binding adhesives, hot melt SBC pressure sensitive adhesives and solvent-based
pressure sensitive adhesives. Broad compatibility of this product facilitates use of wide selection of cotackifiers
to customize such properties as specific adhesion, shear strength, open time, peel strength, etc. |

| Pentalyn® A
Odor: characteristic Use: Pentalyn® A synthetic resin, a hard, pale, thermoplastic resin, is the pentaerythritol ester of refined wood rosin. Compared with rosin esters derived from glycerol, this ester is a larger molecule and has about a 20°C higher softening point and greater heat stability. When adducted to obtain still higher softening point resins, lesser amounts of modifying agents are required to yield a resin of equivalent softening point. Uses for Pentalyn A synthetic resin include protective coating vehicles, adhesives, and printing inks. |

| Pexalyn® 9100
Odor: characteristic Use: Pexalyn® 9100 resin is a hard, pale, thermoplastic pentaerythritol ester of rosin produced via a special process that delivers light initial color and product stability. Pexalyn 9100 stabilized rosin ester is particularly suitable as a cost effective tackifier resin in hot melt and other types of adhesives. It is also useful as a resin modifier for elastomers and waxes. |

| Pexalyn® T100
Odor: characteristic Use: Pexalyn® T100 resin is a technical grade pentaerythritol ester of rosin. It is a hard, pale, thermoplastic resin with good stability for general purpose use. Pexalyn T100 stabilized rosin ester is a very cost effective tackifier resin in less demanding adhesive applications. |
