| Disproportionated Rosin
Odor: characteristic Use: Disproportionated rosin (DPR) is compound of dehydroabie acid and dihydroabtice acid, the DPR is processed through catalytic reaction of gum rosin on proper temperature. In the synthetic rubber industry, DPR is used as emulsifier in the producing of various product including styrene-butadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene rubber. Using DPR as an emulsifier, rubber product will improve in cohesion, the endurance to heat will increase for 25%. The endurance to both abrasion and laceration of this rubber is better than ordinary styrene-butadiene rubber. The cohesion will be greatly enhanced if blending with natural rubber. |

| Gum Rosin R/WG
Odor: characteristic Use: Rosin, also called colophony or Greek pitch, is a solid form of resin obtained from pines and some other plants, mostly conifers, produced by heating fresh liquid resin to vaporize the volatile liquid terpene components. It is semi-transparent and varies in color from yellow to black. At room temperature rosin is brittle, but it melts at stove-top temperatures. It chiefly consists of different resin acids, especially abietic acid.
Chinese Gum Rosin product is used for the manufacturing of paper, paint, soap and printing ink. Since rosin is easily softened and oxidized, in the oil paint industry, the carboxylation reaction of resin acid is usually employed to produce resinate for further use. While in the producing of synthetic rubber and printing ink, resin acid is changed into disproportionate rosin, polymerized rosin, hydrogenated rosin, etc for further use by its double bond reaction. |

| SYLVAROS® 85
Odor: characteristic Use: SYLVAROS® 85 is an unmodified tall oil rosin (TOR), with a high content of abietic type rosin acids. It is specially suited for the manufacture of fortified rosin and paper size. |
| Kraton |
| SYLVAROS® 90
Odor: characteristic Use: SYLVAROS® 90 is a high quality tall oil rosin (TOR), characterized by high rosin acid content, pale colour and good colour stability. It is low in ash and free of oxidized materials. SYLVAROS® 90 is an excellent starting material for the manufacture of paper size and disproportionated rosin, resinate emulsifiers, ester gums, synthetic resins and other
rosin drivatives. SYLVAROS® 90 may also be used directly for rubber compounding. |

| SYLVAROS® DR-22
Odor: characteristic Use: SYLVAROS® DR-22 is a catalytically disproportionated rosin derived from high-purity rosin. It is more uniform, higher in rosin acids, and lower in unsaponifiable material than disproportionated wood or rosin. The disporportionation step converts abietic acid to the more oxidation-resistant dihydroabietic and dehydroabietic acid isomers. |

| SYLVAROS® R 100A
Odor: characteristic Use: SYLVAROS® R 100 A is soluble in the most organic solvents and after neutralisation with sodium hydroxide solution, potassium hydroxide solution, ammonia or amines also soluble in water. Its average oxygen absorption is less than 0.2 % (w/w) over a period of 4 weeks. The material may, however, deteriorate slightly in colour if stored for a prolonged period exposed to air. Molten rosin at higher temperatures should be blanketed with an inert gas to prevent any possibility of oxidation by atmospheric oxygen. |

| Belro®
Odor: characteristic Use: Belro® dark wood rosin is a medium softening point, dark, thermoplastic, acidic resin. A product of the wood naval stores industry, it is obtained during the separation and refining of various natural resins and terpenes extracted from aged pinewood. Belro dark wood rosin is composed of rosin-type resin acids, oxidized and otherwise modified forms of these materials, and a minor amount of the neutral and colored constituents associated with dark wood rosins. |
| Pinova |
| Melhi® NLM
Odor: characteristic Use: Melhi® NLM resin is obtained from the distillation of rosin or modified rosin. It is a medium hard, deep amber to dark brown thermoplastic acidic resin. The solubility and tackifying properties make this product particularly useful in low cost gravure inks, hot melt adhesives, mastic adhesives, fiberboard, and similar applications where color is not important. |
| Pinova |
| Pexite® FF
Odor: characteristic Use: Pexite® FF Rosin is a high softening point, dark, thermoplastic, acidic resin extracted from pine tree stumps. It is composed of rosin acids, oxidized and modified forms of these resins, and neutral and colored constituents associated with dark rosin. Crystallization tendency of Pexite FF Rosin is less than that of other pale colored grades of rosin. |

| Vinsol® flaked
Odor: characteristic Use: Vinsol® flaked resin is a dark reddish-brown, high melting, thermoplastic natural resin extracted from pinewood stumps and refined through a special process. Vinsol resin is produced exclusively by Pinova, Inc. in Brunswick, Georgia, USA. Because of its physical and chemical properties and its aliphatic-hydrocarbon insolubility, Vinsol resin is used in a wide range of industrial applications, including asphalt emulsions, cement, fiberboard, paperboard, composition board, foundry molds, plastics, automotive sealants, and adhesives. It is also available in pulverized form. |
| Pinova |
| Vinsol® MC
Odor: characteristic Use: Vinsol® MC resin is a medium softening point, dark, thermoplastic, acidic resin formulated to provide similar performance to that of Vinsol® resin. Vinsol MC resin is not an exact match or replacement for Vinsol resin, but does provide similar performance where the emulsifier is not required to be as robust as traditional Vinsol resin. Vinsol MC may be used as an emulsifier extender in applications where Vinsol resin is traditionally used. Vinsol MC is composed of rosin-type resin acids and neutral and colored constituents associated with other dark wood rosins. |
| Pinova |
| Vinsol® pulverized
Odor: characteristic Use: Vinsol® pulverized resin is a dark reddish-brown, high melting, thermoplastic natural resin extracted from pinewood stumps, primarily Pinus palustris, and refined through a special process. Vinsol pulverized resin is produced exclusively by Pinova, Inc. in Brunswick, Georgia, USA. Because of its physical and chemical properties and its aliphatic-hydrocarbon insolubility, Vinsol pulverized resin is used in a wide range of industrial applications, including asphalt emulsions, cement, fiberboard, paperboard, composition board, foundry molds, plastics, automotive sealants, and adhesives. It is also available in flaked form. |
