| Vetivert Absolute
Odor: characteristic Use: Adam Michael has this to say about Vetivert Absolute “This vetivert absolute is utterly sensational material, produced from North Indian wild growing vetivert that in Hindi is known as khus khus or khas. More specifically this vetivert is from Uttar Pradesh and produced by solvent extracting the concrete. The colour is golden amber and of a very thick treacle consistency that would benefit from gentle warmth prior to use.” |

| Vetyver Absolute
21 CFR 172.510 Odor: Woody Earthy Green Use: Vetyver is a green grass commonly cultivated for its roots, finely structured and very strong, which can grow 3 to 4 meters deep. The Reunion quality has now disappeared and the Haiti production stands as the most popular one. Due to its excellent fixative properties, Vetyver is widely used in perfumes. Also, the vetyver plant is highly tolerant to drought and can help to protect soil against erosion. |
